Way back when I was 12 and in 7th grade, a science experiment changed the shape of my right index finger forever.

We were supposed to heat sugar in a spoon over a candle and then measure the temperature afterwards. After subjecting the spoonful of sugar to heat, naturally the sugar caramelized and its aroma filled the room. Being the sugar-obssessed kid I was back then, I got so tempted to eat the sugar right after the experiment. I was so excited that I couldn't wait for it to cool down, so a few minutes after taking the temperature of the heated sugar, with a lot of excitement and so little self-control, I dipped my right index finger on the caramelized sugar [on the spoon], and I started screaming.

The next thing I knew was that the Lab Teacher was putting ice over my blistered finger, burned toasted brown. She told me that I was insane to dip my hand into caramelized sugar (yet to cool down) which had a boiling point a lot higher than water.

I went home that day promising myself never to eat caramel anymore.
I guess that's the reason why I'm not so sugar-obssessed as I used to be. See, all the trouble you get for eating sweets is not worth it.

And now, I'm stuck with an abnormally formed right index finger. It's my stupid sugar-scar. And it serves as a constant reminder to not eat sugar that way again.

I tripped while I was ushering last night for Blue Rep's "Into the Woods". I was just extra grateful that it was dark enough in the theatre for the audience not to see. It's ironic how the darkness saved me from public humiliation, when it was also that same darkness that caused my downfall literally.

See, Tin-tin's right: she trips a lot more often than I do but her little accidents are too tiny to actually dwell on. Although I think, nobody dwells on it as much because it's just too common already. It's like an everyday occurance that if she doesn't have a little accident by the end of the day, something's not right. hehe. Joke lang Tin!

As for me, on the other hand: it's quality over quantity. When I trip, although rare, it's a bigger accident than usual.

Yahoo!

Finally, I got the junk to work out somehow. It's not as smooth as a pro-made site, but I'm proud of it. Like any webmaster would be... because it's a site made out of sweat and hours of sitting and grilling in front of a computer.

Now. what else is new? My hair. I trimmed it. Um, not the like my usual trim that's 1 length all over (3 years of the same hairstyle man!). It's sort of layered now. So, that's really new. And my I have new slippers too. Also, a new Mashimaro pencil case... this time color blue.

I'm rambling now.... sorry.... I'm too happy to stop.

Aside from my webpage and SM Bicutan, I'm happy that Pisy's got a date! :) yahoo!

Ok. I'm getting extremely annoyed. Something's not right. Again.

The dumb person I am. I do not know FTP because I do not have web hosting. I'm such a sorry little ass.

Anyhow, my site's frames have finally worked. I assure you that now, I know HTML better than before.

This is my second attempt to put a blogger on my website. I am trying my darnedest to actually put it in my website via a link from a framed page. Tin advised me to do this because I was attempting the FTP version which I don't know how to do at all. But being the impatient, non-computer person that I am, I get really irritated when it doesn't work.

*by being the non-computer person means that I am not really the whiz in computers etc. nor am I taking a computer related course.

so with so much hope and newfound determination... hopefully I'll get something "spiffy" done.

Yahoos.
