This day is special. God heard my prayers and it went well. Even better than what I prayed for.
=)
I can't stop smiling. And nobody can blame me for that.
Cause I'm kühl. Yes, I am.
hehe.

Oh fart. (A really big one)
I missed the deadline. By a few minutes or so.
BUT. Before anything else. The blog below this, where I had dinner at the Pen to celebrate my parents' 20th Wedding Anniversary, was written for January 15... and supposed to be published by January 15. I just missed the Publish button by a few minutes, and so it is written under the 16th.... and that's why it sucks. It's not accurate.
Anyhow.
I'm still the kühlest. I am kühler than Mr. HagenDaaz, because he said so!
Change topic. So much to write about that, but not my beeswax really. Hehe.
Anyhow. For January 15th's blog. I was supposed to put family values, like the Hawaiian Ohana... but due to time restrictions, I wasn't able to do so. I guess writing it down here wouldn't lose the essence of it.
The family dinner was well cozy, as no extended family came.... anyhow, it was nearly chaotic because my dad scheduled an out of the blue meeting, which irritated my mom cause it was a special day and all.
Anyhow, to cut the drama short.... everything was settled. My dad miraculously cancelled his meeting. (He must've felt so bad being grilled by 2 women! hehe!)
In the end, we laughed out our differences and agreed to the principle of Ohana: Nobody is forgotten or gets left behind.
I've missed a blessed day (that was yesterday) for blogging. And I'm running on a deadline not to miss today's blog.
Today is the 20th Wedding Anniversary of my parents. We ate out as a family at the Manila Pen.
I ate the biggest meal ever! I never knew my stomach had so much capacity! Ok fine, consider the fact that I was starved for the day: I only ate 1and 1/2 pieces of slice bread for breakfast (one had butter the other had butter and jam), and for lunch: just half a sandwich. In between a few cookies that barely reach the RDA!
Hehe.
So, my dinner was the biggest meal I ever had for this day! Come to think of it, today's wonderful dinner is my biggest meal in days!
Aloha! shit. time's running out!

Tell me if Love is a one way street.
Way back in 4th year, my CLE teacher discussed the Beatitudes of Christ and how he gave these to us so that we will find heaven here on earth.
One of those beatitudes spoke about love. I am not exactly sure which one, but I am very sure of the message: Love is in reality a one way street, instead of the common belief of two. You give it unconditionally, regardless.... just because... just like how our heavenly Father loves us inspite of and despite of ourselves. The only reason why it becomes a two way street is because another person loves you unconditionally, not because you're loving him/her but because you exist.
It's like the stars - it shines ever lastingly, to the point of exhaustion, but it shines because it's made to shine, because it wants to shine... it wants to radiate its light not because there are other stars that do the same but because it is a star capable of shining.
Love is supposed to be given that way. Unconditionally.
And if another star beams back the love for the same purpose; for the same reason we then realize that what we burn for is worth it. And though we are somewhat disillusioned of love being a two-way street, we realize, at its utmost reality and existence, that it really isn't. It's a paradigm in itself. It moves you and it breaks you...
My question now is... when do you know when to stop loving? When do you know that it's not doing anything good anymore? When do you draw the line with unconditional love and modern-day matyrdom?
People become cynics and carelessly deduct that: "This world isn't ready for such unconditional love." But for all things are worth... you then realize that you will die without having it, and without giving it.
The point of my essay? God knows what. Behind the mysteries of my mind is the beating of my heart. It always has told me what to write, simply because I feel.

I am not quite sure, but I am thinking about changing the whole theme-scheme of my webpage again. I mean, my webpage is on its 4th year already! (It's not that long, but to me it is!) And I have thought of these changes that could spunk the funk up. But again, even with this nifty idea, I am still hesitant about change... afterall the grey & orange thing is well my 'brainchild'and I still think it's kinda kühl.
Whatcha think people?
Anyhow... I just got myself a tagboard. It's like this ancient, unsophisticated message board... but it's über kühl in my humble opinion. I've thought about my layout and I scratch my head and realize that I don't have any idea where to put it!
Geez. That's like me buying furniture for my room because I find it really nice, suddenly realizing that there is no place in my room to keep it! Wow. (How sad!) ;þ
Anyhow..... I know eventually I'll figure something out. I mean, I always do. It's just that these days, my processing chip for my webpage is kinda slow. Hehe.
For those of you interested to get a free tagboard go here. And voila! you got yourself a kühl tagboard.
I'll stop this German obsession soon. I have to, or somehow I'll get shot.
But it's just so funky you know! Especially when you say it with the German accent!: Ja! Das ist so kühl.
hehe.
